Charlie On The Grill
May River Grill is chef owned and operated. Charlie Sternburgh moved to the Hilton Head area from Michigan in 1983 and has been serving the Low Country ever since. Charlie attributes much of his success and learning to Ed Murray who took Charlie under his wing in the very beginning of his career.

Fresh local seafood is our mantra. When it comes to native seafood it is always bought fresh off the boat from local fishermen. Non native seafood is only bought freshly delivered and never “previously frozen” like some other restaurants. We take pride in presenting the finest dishes for you to enjoy!
